Aqsa Ahmad-Majeed, DDS
“My name is Aqsa Amad-Majeed and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I moved from Arizona to St. Louis seven years ago. I have been practicing dentistry and raising my three children here since then and have grown to love the city. Although the first few winters were a little rough, I finally gave in to the cold weather and bought some winter gear, and now I am really appreciating the seasons. I love doing dentistry and the chance it gives me to build relationships with my patients.
Dr. Hartel has shared personal accounts of what a great “dental family” he has and I am looking forward to continuing that same relationship. I have gotten a chance to review many treatment plans with him and have met many of you in the office over the last few weeks. I am looking forward to getting to know the rest of you in the weeks to come. Even though Dr. Hartel will not be in the office on a daily basis, I am certain that you will still be seeing him around from time to time and I assure you that our goal is to provide the same caring and skillful dentistry that he has provided over the past 20 years.”

Sherine Apte, DDS
“Let me introduce myself as I hope to be meeting you in the dental office soon. My name is Sherine Apte and I am originally from Dallas, Texas but I relocated to St. Louis with my husband. He is a Professor in Ophthalmology at Washington University. We love living in St. Louis and raising our two sons. This is truly a great city, and although I used to be a Ranger’s fan… I can assure you I now wholeheartedly root for the home team St. Louis Cardinals.
I have had a passion for dentistry since I was a young child. I would cajole my younger sister to sit in the living room’s recliner to let me examine her teeth. I love my profession, and I cannot imagine doing anything else.
I am very excited to serving the dental needs of the community and being your dentist. I greatly look forward to meeting you. Dr. Hartel is a wonderful dentist, and the military veterans are very lucky to have him. I will continue to uphold his tradition of exceptional care that his patients have received.”
